Sim1nk Body Art Tattoos was born on Friday 13th November 2009 and has been progressing and growing in such a short space of time, attracting Tattoo enthusiast from all over the UK and sometimes internationally!
I have intentionally made my studio a very relaxing, warm and welcoming place to be. Once you arrive you never want to leave. We provide Hot drinks and a nice cosy sofa to relax on while you wait for your turn in the chair!
We have a great selection of Designs in the studio but I mainly specialise in one-off custom pieces. If you can’t find what you want I can design you your very own Tattoo which will be completely unique to you and your body at no extra cost, all I require is a deposit which will come off the price of your Tattoo. You can Bring in any picture you find whether it is a design from a necklace, a T-shirt, anything, I can create from your ideas. The studio is a complete professional Body Art studio where we pride ourselves on a high standard of Tattooing. Under no circumstances will we Tattoo under age and break the law. The min age for a Tattoo is 18.
If your looking for a cheap 'knock off' Tattoo you won’t find it here. If you’re looking for the highest skilled standard of work which you will love forever you are at the right place! I would say roughly 75% of the work I do is re-working or covering old unwanted Tattoos. The biggest mistake my customers have told me is that they chosen cheap home Tattooists NOT TATTOO ARTISTS to do their body art and learned to regret it after what they had done to them. Be wise get the best! And never regret it!
About Sim
Sim studied at Harlington Upper School, Bedfordshire where she received A grade results for GCSE & A- LEVEL Art and Graphic Design. After completeing her A-Level qualifications she then went onto study a Foundation degree Art and Design course at BARNFIELD COLLEGE, Luton.
At the young age of 21 she joined the Adrenalin team and learned the ropes at a busy established Tattoo studio. She then Completed an Apprenticeship for Tattooing at ‘ADRENALIN TATTOOS’ Luton, Bedfordshire Under the tuition of Richard Burley. A few years after completing her apprenticeship she became quite well known in Bedfordshire and Lincolnshire and has clients all over the UK and some overseas also.
Sim had a great team around her and a great boss who showed her all the key essential skills of Tattooing and allowed her to find her own flare and style. Tattooing was something that came naturally to Sim. Picking up a Tattoo machine was like picking up a pencil or paintbrush she realised she just had a natural flare and passion for this kind of body art and then went on to be one of the most respected female artists around.
Sim has been Tattooing since 2006 but has been a talented artist ever since she knew how to draw from the age of 3. She entered her first ever tattoo competition at Colchester Expo 2009 and received runner up in the best portrait category which is considered one of the most difficult catagories to enter competing against long term Tattooists who had been in the industry alot longer than herself. Sim is planning on trying to attend many more conventions in the future as long as her busy schedule will let her!
In May 2008 Sim decided it was time to move on and move where her family were in Lincolnshire so sadly departed from the first studio she ever loved and worked in and got a job at ‘EXTREME BODY ART’ in Boston, Lincolnshire where she learned managerial skills and a whole new way of life and custom. After working there for over a year an opportunity came for her to buy and own her very own studio so on Friday 13th November 2009 ‘Sim1nk Body Art’ was Born! on which day is considered an iconic and lucky day for Tattooist! Spooky!
